THE RINGLEADER

Went to C'est Magnifique on Macdougal today to reunite with my coveted (& fixed!) Pamela Love earrings & the newest addition to my ring collection: a silver skull ring with prosthetic eye. Notorious for these 'third eye' rings, C'est Magnifique customized them all the time, but due to the rising cost of prosthetic eyes, haha, they're currently out & looking for ways to restock. The rings that johnny depp wears religiously are from this amazing shop--definitely worth a visit.

My dad had a prosthetic eye & though it was obviously a heavy matter, he always played tricks with it to make others laugh. Sooo, this ring is in ode of my dad. I might get his initials inscribed.
For a further glimpse of my ring collection & their stories, check out my closet on Style Like U

**ABOUT ALIOMI**

ALIOMI, Created by NYC Chicks, is like raiding a friend's closet whose style you love. As girlfriends who grew up together in Manhattan, they joined forces to form ALIOMI: an online boutique that brings you fashion inspired by NYC's sidewalks. New York is our stomping ground. It is the core and catalyst of motivation that runs through our veins. ALIOMI items reflect and embody the veritable and ever-changing palate of NYC: its avant-garde trends, social climate, pace, and diversity. ALIOMI offers an array of first and second hand items: Vintage, Custom, and DIY--often collaborating with talented up-and-coming designers and artists. Each garment is unique, handpicked, and carefully selected by the ALIOMI team. ALIOMI items are limited release, once they're sold out, they're gone! In many cases there is only one of each item.

While ALIOMI focuses primarily on e-commerce, they place a strong emphasis on unique yet understated styling, individualism, lifestyle, street trends, and in fostering a community of forward-thinking individuals to collaborate with through various mediums. ALIOMI.com is a virtual indie magazine of sorts, touching upon, personalizing, and covering aspects that many mainstream fashion houses do not. ALIOMI wants to familiarize its customers with who they are and what they stand for, not only as a company, but also as individuals.

The ALIOMI team handpicks, customizes, and designs items not only because of their aesthetic value, but because they hold strong standards and ideals behind the merchandise they select. They set a price point that is affordable to many, which they deem to be especially important in today's economy. ALIOMI encourages others to express their individualism by selecting their customized DIY items. They expose people to innovative, up-and-coming designers, and in turn, help their small businesses to flourish. ALIOMI urges people to buy vintage not only because it's fashionable, but also because it is cost effective and environmentally friendly to recycle pre-loved items. We are 100% hands-on with everything we do.

ALIOMI believes that what encompasses personal style goes beyond the bounds of fashion and current trends. Their customer, 'The ALIOMI chick' is someone whose style moves easily between varied spaces, stealing beauty and rustling people. Each day she reveals a different part of herself, a piece of a vast and ever-changing puzzle.

Oh, and we sell unisex items too for the daring man.

Drag me outta bed & take me to the streets. David Shama's photography is epic.
Simply evokes a vibe from a different decade we're all nostalgic for..
sometimes giving off a 60's feel, other times more 90's grunge, all the while always au courant.

Fun fact: before I knew the man behind the lens of these photos, I fell in love with them.
I then discovered David is a cousin from my Egyptian uncle's side
