Alexis Bledel took a turn for the 80's in this WWD editorial. After playing the American sweetheart time & time again in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants & Gilmore Girls, it's about time the 28 y/o star breaks out of her typecast roles. I've always thought she's stunning, that dark hair & deep blue eyes combo gets me every time.
What do you think, is the styling too forced?

She started out as a model so it's cool to see her going back to her roots. In a way I feel like the styling is forced to, but it could because I'm viewing her as an actress, not a model. I do love the first pic with the Janis necklace.
